POETRY IN MISSION 

 


In the sudden realization that what's missing in this nation
Is a personalization of some services and aids,
My goal is not to ration nor to limit to mentation
What I offer to the nation in my real estate crusades.
 

Whatsoever your life's mission, whether worker or physician,
Math'matician or technician, and no matter what your class,
My uncanny intuition says you'd rather be out fishin'
Squishin' worms on fishin' hooks for swishin' out to waiting bass.

 

While you may never want to shirk you know it sure would be a perk
If someone else would do the work involved in shopping for a house,
But where on God's green earth could lurk a jerk who suffers such a quirk
He'd want to do another's work and not consider him a louse?

 

A someone you could send to get those photos for the internet
So you could stay at home and pet your puppy or your spouse,
While sitting in your leatherette computer chair you'd never sweat
What even fearless shoppers fret:                                                                                                                      that freeway slaughterhouse!
